Our Team

Alvin Philips (Game Director): Hey! I'm Alvin, Axis Shift's Game Director. My role involves defining and directing the overall gameplay experience, leading game design decisions, and implementing most technical functionality. My primary skills are in game design and programming, especially graphics and optimization. I'm largely self-taught and have been making games, mostly for fun and to learn, for close to two decades. I've been having a great time working on Axis Shift with my team, and I hope you give it a try!

Cole Millar (Lead Level Designer, Sound Designer): Hi, I’m Cole! I was one of the original core members of the team working on this project, and I pitched the original idea for the game's concept. Working primarily as the Lead Level Designer for the game, my role has been to create functional, visually appealing and cohesive levels. With over four years of experience working on game projects, I am passionate about designing, prototyping, and optimizing compelling level experiences.  I am very proud and excited to be able to share Axis Shift with everybody to play!

Braeden Hammill (Art Director): Hey, I'm Braeden, the Art Director for Axis Shift. My contributions include the Enemy Designs and animations as well as the main player character. I also worked on lots of brand assets like the logos, posters, and banners.  :D

Aditya Vashishtha (Associate Producer, Game Designer): Hello, I am Adi! It has been an absolute fun experience working for this team and this project. I have experience in several different roles and work as a generalist; however, as an Associate Producer, I have been working to keep the project on track and gameplay within scope while developing Axis Shift as an experience that everyone can enjoy!

Elora VanderWal (Associate Producer): Hello, I'm Elora! I've joined this team and taken over the Associate Producer role. I've been working hard trying to keep development on schedule, documenting team decisions, and helping out wherever I can to bring this idea to life!

Lei Wu (Technical Artist, Environment Artist): I'm Lei! My work includes authoring procedural tools to batch-design environment props, building automated pipeline for live asset tweaks and management, and now adding shaders & VFX to give the action extra pop. Beyond the project, I’m a versatile tech artist across Unreal and Unity with years of procedural-tool building experience and a passion for shaders and VFX for dynamic visuals. I'm thrilled to contribute to Axis  Shift!
